SSAO Member Vote Not to Dissolve
We are pleased to report that the members of the Self Storage Association of Ohio voted not to dissolve the organization. To that end, the board of directors will “re-group” and will be scheduling a planning session within the next 60 days to set a new agenda for SSAO.
As a result of the vote and with an eye to the current financial position of the association, the board voted to end its management relationship with Professional Association Management Services, Inc and look to other more local options to service the members. On a temporary basis, SSAO President Bob Krumdieck will handle the operational end of the organization. A Webinar is a seminar conducted over the Internet, a type of online conference. Unlike a Webcast, which transmits information in only one direction, a Webinar is designed to be interactive between the presenters and audience. It is "live" in the sense that information is conveyed according to an agenda, with a starting and ending time. In most cases, the presenter may speak over a standard telephone line, pointing out information being presented on the viewers' computer screen. The audience can ask questions of the presenter by typing messages to the presenters via an online chat tool.

 The Self Storage Association of Ohio, formerly Ohio Storage Owners Society, was formed in 1998 in response to a growing concern over increasing legislative involvement in the self storage industry.
